I could live on their banh mi and avocado bubble tea smoothies. Try the pandan cake for a delicious semi-sweet treat.

Great value for the price. Not a sit in restaurant. Service is fairly quick, and the sandwiches are very delicious. If they don't raise their prices like all the restaurants around them, I'll keep coming here. Even as a vegetarian, I can find something to eat here. The tofu sandwich is my sandwich of choice. Very filling as well.

Best ever? hell yes. Some people might disagree, there are some that like Saigon deli across the street but I think this is better. Cheap, fast Vietnamese sandos. I like it with chicken.

I was also exclusively loyal to Saigon Deli (well, when I was eating in the ID) until I tried this place on the recommendation of some Vietnamese friends. While I still think Saigon Deli has superior sandwiches, this place has a better selection of everything else. Pretty much every weekday, I stop by to either pick up lunch (green papaya salad with either shrimp or beef jerky) or dinner (I'm currently in love with the hot bamboo shoots and pork). Vietnamese food is so light, healthy, delicious and inexpensive it's becoming the staple of my diet.

Chicken liver pate spread - soo good. I get number three everytime. Everything I buy here is good and fresh tasting. Note: I usually come early afternoons, and I don't see why anyone would complain about the customer service - any one who expects good CS in international district is crazy. Besides the food is worth it.. 3 bucks for a really nice banhmi - better than what you can get anywhere in the u-district by far.

This place is the forefront if you want that real real vietnamese food. Check the busy times, if you're going in for 'scoop and serve' dinner with the fam you may be bummed but they're always ready to make a bomb bahn mi for stupid cheap. After years of mental debate this is my second favorite sammie in the neighborhood but popular opinion says I'm wrong. Either way, it's a solid choice for a baller on a budget or someone who is ready to get down on Vietnam cuisine.
